Team Competitions
Lanarkshire Badminton (LBG & LASBA) enters Junior Teams into SSBU Inter-Area Events, Anglo-Scottish Events & Badminton Scotland's U15/18 Restricted Team Competition. In addition with opportunities for schools in Lanarkshire to enter both Primary & Secondary Quaich Events. The Senior County events include Badminton England's Senior County Championships (SSC) and Badminton Scotland's Senior Inter-Group Event.

Restricted Inter-Group U15/18
This is an annual event which gives the opportunity for all 9 Badminton Scotland Regional Groups to compete in a team match format against the other group areas

SSBU Senior Inter Area
This event provides the opportunity for S5-S6 pupils to represent Lanarkshire team playing against up 17 other school areas across Scotland. Teams are made up of 4/5 boys & 4/5 girls.

SSBU Intermediate Inter Area
This event provides the opportunity for S3-S4 pupils to represent Lanarkshire team playing against up 17 other school areas across Scotland. Teams are made up of 4/5 boys & 4/5 girls.

2023-24 Badminton England Senior County Championships (SCC) [Week 1 of 3]
The Senior County Championships is played over three weekends, with all teams in each division coming together in a central venue competing for the ultimate title of County Championships.

Badminton Scotland Senior Inter-Group
This is an annual event which gives the opportunity for all 9 Badminton Scotland Regional Groups to compete in a team match format against the other group areas

Anglo-Scottish Junior Invitational (U19)
The Anglo-Scottish Badminton Tournament is a team event consisting of teams of ten players. Each team has 5 girls and 5 boys. The event allows Lanarkshire to compete against various Scottish & English counties.

If you are secondary school with in Lanarkshire why not enter the LASBA Secondary Quaich. Schools can enter up to 4/5 boys & 4/5 girls to compete against other schools. Winners progress to the National Final!
